Bridging Creativity: CTE Building Trades Contest - The CTE Construction Trades program celebrated Bridge Month with a Bridge Building Contest. To prepare, students watched educational films, including "Building the Mighty Mac," to learn more about bridge construction. They then worked in teams to design and build their own bridges, competing to see which design could hold the most weight.
The first place team—Preston Willert, Clayton Neuman, and Brayden Randle from Gladwin—built a bridge that held 100.5 lbs. Second place went to Andrew Lewis, Landon Love, and Karter Offenbecker from Clare, with a bridge supporting 91 lbs. #CTEitsWorking #CGRESD #ourstory
