Your Future Starts Here — Clare-Gladwin CTE

At Clare-Gladwin Career & Technical Education (CTE), learning goes beyond the traditional classroom. With 11 hands-on career programs serving students from Clare, Gladwin, Farwell, Harrison, and Beaverton, CTE gives you the opportunity to explore real careers while still in high school.

Students train in industry-style labs at the Magnus Center campus, with additional programs located through our partnership with Mid Michigan College. Whether you're interested in Automotive Technology, Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technology, Health Occupations, Public Safety, Agricultural Science, Culinary Arts, Construction Trades, Advanced Manufacturing, Welding, Education Occupations, or Digital Media, you’ll gain practical experience using professional tools and equipment in environments that mirror the workplace.

CTE students can:

  • Earn college and high school credit

  • Obtain industry-recognized certifications

  • Participate in student leadership organizations like FFA, HOSA, SkillsUSA, and FCCLA

  • Build connections with local employers and industry partners

  • Develop leadership, teamwork, and technical skills that prepare them for what comes next

Many students leave CTE ready to enter the workforce, continue their education, begin apprenticeships, or pursue advanced technical training — often with a head start on certifications and credentials.

Clare-Gladwin CTE is designed for students who want more: more experience, more opportunity, and more direction for their future. If you're ready to turn your interests into skills and your goals into a plan, your next step starts here.
