The Great Lakes Bay Supplemental Math Project (GLBSMP) team erected a Number Corner display in preparation for professional learning with pilot teachers from Beaverton, Farwell, and Harrison school districts. Participating educators explored teacher guides, kits, and lessons to ready themselves for implementation of Number Corner.

Educators from around the region participated in Number Corner training this week. This supplemental math program provides teachers and students with multiple opportunities to build number sense in K-5 classrooms. Number Corner professional learning and classroom kits were provided by the Great Lakes Bay Supplemental Math Project.

CGRESD Superintendent Tara Mager attended the statewide ISD Superintendent Early Childhood Summit yesterday in Bath Township.. She was joined by Kendra Curtiss-Tomaski (Early Childhood/Family Services Director) and Amy Salogar (Director of Teaching & Learning). The summit emphasized the importance of early education and the positive educational and economic impacts of supporting our youngest learners. #CGRESD #OurStory

Clare County Playgroup has moved and made some changes. Playgroup is now located at 426 N. 1st Street. Suite 107 Harrison between Link Learning and Hardy Insurance. If you have a child 0 to 4 years of age than join us weekly on Thursdays from 10am to 11am. #CGRESD #OurStory
Clare-Gladwin CTE had a fantastic time at the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce Family Night Out held on Tuesday, October 1st, at Wood's Household Parking Lot! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new friends, including potential future CTE students.
The kids loved exploring our Criminal Justice Patrol Car and getting a chance to run the siren. We also had many participants competing in cornhole, push-up contest, and the step game, all for a chance to win a Deer Blind built by our Construction Trades students
