Clare-Gladwin Area School recently received a $1,273.20 donation from the Clare Knights of Columbus Council 3029 through their annual Tootsie Roll Sale. Grand Knight Bruce Wentworth presented the donation to Area School Principal Beth Wood.
Funds raised through the sale directly support the school’s center-based program by providing materials and experiences that help students learn, grow, and build independence.
“We are truly grateful for the continued generosity shown by the Clare Knights of Columbus,” said Beth Wood, Principal of Clare Gladwin Area School. “These funds allow us to provide meaningful resources and experiences that support our students and help them thrive.”
Donations have helped purchase playground equipment, sensory supports, communication tools, classroom materials, and have supported field trips and special events that create valuable learning opportunities.
The Clare Knights of Columbus also recognized the support of the Clare and Farwell communities and local businesses including Jay’s Sporting Goods, Witbeck’s Family Foods, Carrow's Supermarket, and Cops and Doughnuts.
