The Clare-Gladwin Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council (CAN Council) is proud to announce a $1,500 donation from Spherion Staffing and Recruiting in Midland. The donation was presented by franchise owner Sarah Ross and accepted by Sarah McCurdy, Family Liaison and Chairperson of the CAN Council.
“This generous donation will help us continue providing essential resources and programs for families in our community,” said McCurdy. “Support like this allows us to fund the Gladwin County Baby Pantry, host free family fun events, and offer other services that make a real difference for local families.”
The Gladwin County Baby Pantry provides diapers, wipes, clothing, and other essentials to families in need. The pantry is currently seeking donations of diapers (sizes 3, 4, 5, and 6), wipes, boys’ clothing (sizes 3T to 5T), and pajamas for boys and girls (sizes 3T to 5T). Monetary donations are also welcome and go toward supporting various community initiatives.
