CGRESD Pupil Auditing Consortium provides auditing services to schools in the following intermediate districts:

  • Allegan

  • Clare-Gladwin

  • Gratiot-Isabella

  • Midland

  • Mecosta-Osceola

  • Newaygo

Pupil accounting for the Clare-Gladwin Regional Educational Service District (CGRESD) entails accurately tracking student enrollment and attendance to comply with the State of Michigan regulations and funding criteria. The count day generates full-time equivalencies, securing financial aid from the state for each district. Tasks involve maintaining student records and managing enrollment changes, optimizing resource allocation and supporting educational planning. Pupil membership counts occur twice annually.

2024-2025 Count Days

Count days are established in the State School Aid Act of 1979 as the first Wednesday in October, and the second Wednesday in February.
