Work-Based Learning
Building Tomorrow's Workforce
Connecting Students and Employers
Work-Based Learning connects classroom instruction with real-world experiences that prepare students for future success. Through paid or non-paid work experiences, mentoring and job shadowing, students explore careers, develop workplace and employability skills, and connect what they are learning in their CTE program to real-world opportunities. These experiences help students build confidence, gain valuable experience and better prepare for college, careers and the workforce.
