CTE Student of the Marking Period is here! The CTE Student of the Marking Period program is meant to promote success in and out of the classroom. For a student to be a well-respected citizen, they must be able to balance many different areas of life. They must exemplify outstanding characteristics both as a student and as a citizen of the community. The student must be able to handle many different aspects of student life while maintaining excellence in the CTE Classroom. This award is designed to recognize students who promote and take pride in their Clare-Gladwin CTE Program and in themselves. The Criminal Justice students went to Gladwin on Saturday the 3rd of December for Gladwin's Annual Festival of Lights. In the parade they were responsible for pulling an inflated Candy castle, and interacting with attendees that had come to watch the parade. Yesterday evening the Clare-Gladwin RESD CTE programs hosted their bi-annual Advisory Committee meeting at the Magnus Center. Each advisory committee provides valuable insight into current industry practices and also guidance for each program on equipment purchases and work-based learning opportunities. Additionally, in customary fashion, our Culinary Arts program prepared the dinner for all guests and had several capable student workers to help make the evening a success. #CTEitsWorking #AdvisoryCommittee
