Afterschool and Summer Programs Matter — SPARKS/Ignite Matters!

SPARKS and Ignite are more than afterschool and summer programs—they’re places where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow.

Although the 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) funding was included in the federal FY25 spending bill signed in March, the U.S. Department of Education has not yet released these funds, which were expected by July 1, 2025.
