Clare-Gladwin RESD helps the five local school districts in Clare and Gladwin counties with programs and services that are best provided on a regional basis - things that are highly specialized or that are more cost-efficient to offer regionally.

Clare-Gladwin RESD is one of 57 intermediate school districts in Michigan created by the legislature in 1962 to bring about quality and equitable educational opportunities to local students and schools. The RESD helps communities make the best use of resources in educating students by collaborating with school districts, higher education, non-profit organizations, business and others to bring key programs and services to our schools.

Our Mission:

The Clare-Gladwin Regional Education Service District's mission is to provide cooperative assistance, creative leadership, and specialized expertise to local school districts to enhance and expand educational opportunities for all.
